The Czech Republic’s Sarka Zahrobska was able to take advantage of her first run lead and won the World Cup Slalom 2009 in Aspen, Colorado – the second World Cup slalom win in as many years at the Aspen Winternational. The Austrian Marlies Schild came in second, Karthrin Zettel – also Austria third.
Lindsey Vonn skied off-course in the first run – no U.S. Women qualified for the second run.
